BRIAN NEENAN NAMED SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
Webster CSD’s Board of Education is pleased to announce that Interim Superintendent of Schools Brian Neenan has accepted the position as Webster CSD’s new superintendent of schools. The board of education will approve the resolution to appoint Mr. Neenan during our Tuesday, November 2 meeting.
Mr. Neenan has been a valued member of Webster CSD’s administrative team since 2009. He has served as interim superintendent of schools since April 30, 2021. Prior to his appointment as interim superintendent, he worked in a dual role as WCSD’s deputy superintendent (2015-2021) and assistant superintendent for instruction (2013-2021). Mr. Neenan began in Webster CSD as principal of Willink Middle School (2009-2013). Before joining the One Webster team in 2009, he served as an assistant principal at Victor CSD’s junior high school for four years. Mr. Neenan started his career in education as a mathematics and computer science teacher with Fairport CSD from 1996-2005.

VETERANS INVITED TO FREE TAKEOUT DINNER
Veterans and active duty service members residing in Webster CSD are invited to enjoy a free dinner courtesy of the Spry Middle School Student Council, Spry Middle School Builders Club, and Webster-Fairport B.P.O. Elks #2396!
The trio is once again hosting its veterans appreciation spaghetti dinner, this year on Friday, November 12. However this time, due to COVID-19 restrictions, it will be served takeout style! Please call Spry at (585) 216-0045 by Monday, November 8 to preorder your dinners and provide your approximate pickup time. Availability is between 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. Veterans may order the free meal for themselves and their families.
Then, on Friday, November 12, come to Spry Middle School for pickup! The building is located at 119 South Avenue, and pick up is by the back of the new cafetorium, off of Route 250.
This annual dinner is the school clubs’ and the Elks’ way of showing their appreciation for all of the veterans and active service personnel residing in Webster CSD. We thank all veterans for their service.

WCSD Winter Sports Physicals - 2021
Students who have a current physical by their own Primary Care Provider do NOT need a separate sports physical by the District.
Physical exams dated on or after 11/1/20 will qualify for WINTER sports.
The District Physician does NOT prescribe medication or clear activity restrictions. Students who require rapid-acting rescue medication (epinephrine, inhaler, glucagon, etc) must have current Independent Carry & Use medication orders written by their PCP in order to participate in sports.
Medication orders must be renewed every school year.
Clearance from activity restrictions must be completed by the restricting healthcare provider.
Submit updated physicals, activity clearances and medication orders for 21-22 school year at any time on FamilyID.com, to the school nurse via email, or to the school health office in person or via fax during the school year.
Student athletes must sign up annually for every sport All registrations are electronic at FamilyID.com Use the FamilyID App if using a mobile device
Alpine Ski Team
Students interested in joining the Alpine Ski Team please come to an informational meeting on Thursday November 4th. The meeting will be held in E31 across from the athletic office at 3:30 pm. No race experience necessary to join the team. If you can't make the meeting go to google classroom bfvbjfu.
