Transfiguration School Reopening Meeting

Tuition Payments Start in August

Due to COVID-19, Transfiguration Catholic School will begin billing for the 2020-2021 school year in August. In an effort to give families some relief in these challenging times we opted to not bill as usual in July and tuition payments will be billed August – May for the 2020-2021 school year for those that selected a 10 month tuition agreement.

2020-2021 School Supply Lists

School Supply Lists for the 2020-2021 school year are available! They will be posted on the home page of our school website ( by the end of the day tomorrow. Lists will also be available on the Target website for easy online shopping!

***Important to note this year, students will not be sharing supplies with classmates so please label all items that a students would place in their desk or individual storage space. Supplies like paper towels, napkins, Kleenex etc. do not need to be labeled.

Thursday, August 6th from 12 pm - 3 pm

  • Used/donated uniforms will be on tables outside the entrance of the school.
  • Please be respectful of social distancing.
  • If you have uniforms to donate please place them in the cart next to the tables
  • We will keep a limited supply of backup uniforms this year so please take as many items as you would like.
  • The uniform logo will remain the same for the 2020-2021 school year.

Sign Up for Beginning Band!

Attention fourth graders! Are you interested in playing in band? Mr. McGuire will be sending out information about the program soon to all the fourth-grade families. The information will include sign-ups for instrument demonstrations, costs, band parent testimonies, and safety measures added for this year. You can reach Mr. McGuire at

Summer Lessons

Private lessons are starting again for the summer. Lessons will be offered for all band instruments including piano via online or in person at school. For band members, this is a great way to be ready to go for the school year. Please contact Mr. McGuire at if interested.

Fine Arts Fundraiser!

Would your business be interested in donating funds to improving the fine arts program at Transfiguration? The school has been offered a generous fundraiser opportunity to raise funds for art, band, general music, and the sacred music program. If we can raise $10,000.00 it will be matched giving us a total of $20,000.00 for the fine arts department! Monies raised will be used to help grow the program and obtain safety items necessary for this year. Please contact the school office or if you think your workplace would like to donate or if you would like to volunteer to help. Thank you in advance for your support!

Summer Enrichment Opportunities

C-Stem Lending Library

A series of eight videos provided by the University of St. Thomas C-STEM Lending Library — Each video will demonstrate a STEM activity for students to complete. Lessons include: Volcanoes, CO2 Rocket, and Animals in the Neighborhood. Click here to access the videos.

Lundstrom Performing Arts - Dance/Voice/Drama

A musical theater series of six videos provided by Lundstrum Performing Arts — A teacher and accompanist will lead each video. At the end of the video series, students will have learned the complete "Hakuna Matata" song and dance from “The Lion King.” Once students have learned the routine, please record them performing for a fun surprise to be released at a later date!
