BHS PERCUSSION @ PARKING LOT PREVIEW
"Our Buckhorn Percussion students had the privilege of attending the annual Parking Lot Preview at Muscle Shoals HS this evening. They got to see lots of great HS percussion groups from across north Alabama culminating with UNA’s percussion.
They were excited, inspired, and made connections with students from all over - enjoying sharing music with people who get what it is we do. The best part though was that our students rose to the occasion and had a really great run! I can hardly wait to finish putting together this show and seeing them reach their potential over the final 6 weeks of the season!
*A big thanks to David Smythe for driving and Tate Farms for getting us there! Mr. Smythe is former band dad and Hollyn & Aubrielle’s father.
Big Blue’s tractor is currently out of commission. Tate Farms came to the rescue since Mr. Smythe is driving with them in his retirement. What a great community we have!"

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
https://www.hsvutil.org/community_resources/programs/sign_up_to_round_up.php
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!
