Brothers Achieve Eagle Scout Rank
Travis Ray Clower and Trey Thomas Clower will be recognized at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor, Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the National Scout Museum in Irving, Texas.
The boys are members of Troop 700 of Grapevine, Texas, and both are also members of the Order of the Arrow, Netopalis Sipo Schipinachk Lodge.
To earn the rank of Eagle, a Scout must earn at least 21 merit badges, demonstrate leadership and community service and culminate their efforts by organizing and carrying out an Eagle Project.
For Travis’ project he educated the South Colleyvine assisted living residents on the Vial of Life program and provided an afternoon of entertainment, crafts, door prizes and homemade treats donated by troop family members and friends.
For Trey’s project he enhanced a bird watching area at The Preserve at McCormick Park by clearing debris and constructing benches and bird “homes.”
