- Returning OCEAN Student enrollment - Due April 30
Testing Information and Schedule
Dear Families:
This spring students in grades 6-8 and 10 will take the Smarter Balanced tests in math and English Language Arts. Students in grades 8, and 11 will also take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science. All high school students are required to participate in state testing as a graduation requirement.
The results from these tests will give a more accurate picture of whether students are on track to be ready for college or career. For students in grade 10, passing scores on the Smarter Balanced tests can also be used as a graduation pathway.
Students will take the tests on chromebooks at school. Our school is scheduled to take the tests April 24-May 11. Please review below the detailed schedule for online students. Students should come to school on time for testing and bring a book as they will stay in the testing room until the testing period is complete.

Please arrive on time for each testing day. When students complete testing they should plan to read quietly until they are excused.
