As we draw near to Easter in the holiest of weeks of our faith, let us give thanks to the Lord for the many blessings that He bestows upon us each day! Here at St. Patrick Catholic School we are blessed to be able to participate in several activities to help prepare our students for Easter.
Since Ash Wednesday our students have been blessed to take part in our Lenten Weekly Mass. Our 5th—8th grade students have participated in Lenten Renewal Activities. The students in Kindergarten through 4th grade have focused their religion classes and activities on Lent and Easter.
Congratulations to Mrs. Lind's 7th and 8th grade students and Mr. Baird who have done such a beautiful job with the Stations of the Cross project. The Stations of the Cross are now available to students and families in the green space on the north side of the school. We are so proud of their hard work and thoughtfulness!
Here at St. Patrick, we are an Easter family as we share in God’s great love for us. We will continue to come together as a Catholic community to celebrate and prepare for a glorious Easter Sunday. We do this with renewed faith and hope. See the events at St. Patrick Church below.
P.S. Remember that STO applications are due by April 15. All families that qualify for STO should apply (regardless of ESA qualification). Contact us if you need help filling out your application.
Mrs. Stone's class took a trip yesterday to the parish's Matthew 25 Food Pantry. Students toured the outreach office where some of the food and personal hygiene products are organized for easy access and the pantry where the bulk of the items are stored. They were surprised at the variety of items Matthew 25 has to offer those in need.
