Back to School Night
What to expect:
You will enter the drive thru and be directed along a path by our staff members. We will have you roll down your window and let us know what grade(s) your child(ren) are going into. We will then walkie down to staff so that when you pull forward you will receive a grade level welcome letter, and office welcome letter, PTA information, and a free take-and-bake pizza and science take home activity from Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Once you pull forward staff will bring the materials to your car and we will also bring a photo prop to take a picture of your kiddos if you would like.
Students will NOT bring their supplies to this event, instead they will bring them with them on the first day of school.
We are so excited to see everyone's smiling faces again!

First Day of School
PreK and Kindergarten: The first day of school is Monday, August 16th. This is a full day of school. PreK and Kindergarten conferences are on Thursday, August 12th and Friday, August 13th. See below for additional information.
As a reminder parents and guardians WILL NOT be allowed into the school on the first day. Our priority as a district is to keep schools open and students safe and at this time visitors are not allowed into the building. Thank you for your understanding as we all work to keep our students safe!
PreK and Kindergarten Conferences
We want to welcome our Pre-K and Kindergarten families by offering a time where students and families can come in, see their classroom, meet their teacher and drop off supplies. If you are not able to attend in person, there will be an option to do it via WebEx. You will see that option when you sign up. The conferences will be on August 12th and 13th. You will be getting an e-mail from your child’s teacher soon and you will be able to sign up for your conference time then.
*Wednesday, August 11th will be a drive thru Back to School night. This event will be for our 1st-6th grade families.
Kids & Masks
- Be an example - model wearing a mask when appropriate or while practicing at home
- Have kids practice wearing their mask for short periods of time at first
- Find a comfortable mask or modify the mask to be comfortable (see tips below)
- Find a mask with cool fabric that kids like, or use washable materials to decorate the mask
- Offer students choices of masks to wear
- Masks with vents are NOT allowed, as they let air particles out.
It's also important to remember:
- The mask must cover both the mouth and nose to be effective
- Disposable masks are not meant to be worn more than once
- Fabric masks should be washed often
