Week 15 Preview
Open House and Windows Into Challenge. We have 3 families (11 students) visiting!
Family Presentation: Oppel
Clean Up Families: Stratton, Tate, Oppel
(Responsible for kitchen and main area, returning chairs/tables before leaving for the day.)
Great Artists: The next 6 weeks will be great artists. We will be working with different mediums - water colors, plasters, oil pastels, tempera paint. Please dress your children appropriately or bring in a smock to use during art time.
Registration for 2016-2017
NOTE: All children 4 years or older on June 1, 2016 need to be registered in Foundations in order to be on campus. You can make arrangements for your younger children to be off campus on CC Day. Only children under the age of 4 are eligible to be a lap child or in the nursery. Lap children cannot participate in class. Please see me with any questions.
Upcoming Events
Open House (9:15-3:00) and Windows into Challenge (3:30-4:30p) - February 2nd
Learn more about the Challenge program and grasp the full vision of CC. Parents of children in all programs will benefit from hearing from Challenge parents. Get your questions answered and enjoy some snacks! Children welcome.
Field Trip: NJ Adventure Aquarium - February 5th - REGISTRATION CLOSED
Friday, February 5th at 10am
Meet in the lobby at 10am then explore on your own. Bring or buy lunch and stay the day! Registration is CLOSED.
Valentine's Exchange - February 9th
Theresa Speicher is organizing a Valentine's Exchange among the children. She will have paper bags for each child to collect the Valentine's during CC Day. This is voluntary. See Theresa Speicher's email for more information and class lists.
Field Trip: BSO "Peter and the Wolf" - March 24th - REGISTRATION CLOSED
Thursday, March 24 - 10:00-11:00am at BSO, Baltimore
Registration is CLOSED
Memory Master Testing (optional)
If your student is testing for memory master,
Two adult proofs must be completed by Tuesday, April 12th (Week 23)
Tutor proofs will be the week of April 12th-19th.
Director proofs will be completed by April 19th (Week 24)
If you have any questions about Memory Master, please let me know. Please work with your student and confirm with their tutor by Week 20 if they plan on testing.
