Rising Kindergarteners Play Date!

What: Play Date for ALL rising Kindergarteners & Family

Where: Kelly Road Playground ( Behind OCE )

When: Sunday June 23rd from 3:30-5:00pm

Clopening Treats Needed

Every year, the PTA provides breakfast for the big staff development day during Clopening week (the close of one school year, opening of the next).


This year, we will be catering breakfast from Famous Toastery, but are asking for parents to contribute a few additional items to help get out teachers and staff through their long day of learning and planning.

Box Tops

The final Box Tops winners for the 2018-2019 school year are as follows:


Kindergarten - Kipp

1st - Hicks

2nd - Bechard

3rd - Fink

4th - Barnes

5th - Trainor


Each class will be awarded Popsicles for their participation!!


Enjoy and keep those Box Tops coming into the new school year. Make sure to label with your teacher's name.


Thank you for supporting the Box Tops program this year. We raised $2,206.90 in the 2018-2019 school year.

STEM Survey

Ms. Ferreira, our STEM specials teacher, would appreciate if you can take a minute to fill out this short survey regarding the school's STEM class and club offerings. It will help inform and plan her class and clubs for next year.

Meet the Teacher

Meet the Teacher for all Tracks in Grades 1st-5th will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd.


Times: 2-3pm (Last Names A-L) 3:30-4:30pm (Last Names M-Z)


Current student class assignments will be sent home in their report cards. New students to Olive Chapel will have class assignments mailed to them.


Kindergarten Meet the Teacher 2019-2020


Track 1, 2, and 3 will be held on Monday, July 15th.

The first FULL week of school for Kindergarten students on Tracks 1, 2, and 3 will be on Tuesday, July 16th.


Times:

Track 1: 12:00-12:45pm

Track 2: 1:00-1:45pm

Track 3: 2:00-2:45pm


Track 4 Meet the Teacher will be held on Friday, August 2nd.

The first FULL week of school for Kindergarten students on Track 4 will be on Monday, August 5th.

Track 4: 2:00-2:45pm

Spirit Night

Our first Spirit Night of the 2019-20 school year is coming soon!


Join us Friday, July 26th anytime from 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. at Sweet Spoons at the Haddon Hall Commons Shopping Center (772 W. Williams St.).


15% of all sales will be donated to benefit Olive Chapel. The class with the most participants will win a FroYo party!!!


So come after school, come after dinner, bring a friend, and enjoy a sweet, cool treat to benefit OCE.

Food 4 Kids

The Food 4 Kids program still needs your support. There are several ways to help:


  • Provide a cash donation for the group to purchase needed items. Click here to donate.
  • Send in food items to the collection bin outside the office. Needed items include Canned Meats (Tuna, Chicken), Beans (canned or dried), Rice (small bags), Soup or Ramen Noodles, Mac & Cheese, and individually bagged snacks (Goldfish, Pretzels, Raisins).
  • Send in Publix Gift Cards


Again, the Food 4 Kids program provides back packs of food each Friday for OCE students in need to help them through the weekend.
