The Youngstown Flea

Goodness Grows plans on being there and we hope to see you there as well! Other than the Flea, we still don't have a "Market/Show List" finalized. Like most everyone else, we are taking this unusual summer one day at a time. If another event pops up, we will let you know through Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GoodnessGrows4all/

The Joy of Jungle Jam

Our return to the Flea this month was such a success and now we are in a flurry of jam making. Kitty took 62 assorted jars of Jungle Jam and Juicy Jam to Youngstown on June 13 and returned home with just 3 jars! Thanks, everyone!! (On a related note, she also came back with some of our empty jam jars that our customers returned for $1 off a jar of jam. Returning your jars saves you money, save us from having to buy more jars, and helps with reusing items instead of throwing them away. A win on all counts!)

Current Flavors:

Jungle Jam: Strawberry Jalapeno, Blueberry Jalapeno, Berrylicious Jalapeno, Hot (Jalapeno Habanero), Pineapple Habanero, Cherry Habanero, Peach Habanero

Juicy Jam: Strawberry Lemonade

Jungle Jams contain hot peppers - either jalapeno, habanero, or both. Juicy Jams are our limited specials of fruit and 'lemonade' jam - no peppers here! Give us a call at 330-549-9408 or contact us online to arrange a pick-up or delivery. Jungle Jam is also available at Reach for the STARS in Salem and online through their website: https://reach4thestarsgifts.com/ .

GG's Toad Friends

We don't just make jam and work in the gardens...we also learn about nature, wildlife, life cycles,
and more! Meet two of our amphibian pals - Joe (the big guy) and Slimy (the little one).

Speaking of Weeding...

Weeders Always Welcome!

You are invited to spend some time enjoying the great outdoors, right here on our property. Take time to appreciate nature while pulling some weeds in the flower beds. Goodness Grows works to try to keep the beds looking good but, with the pressure of the summer growing season, time is often scarce. All help is appreciated! Give us a call or send an email to set up a volunteer time.
