Torres & Avirett 18-19

Week of 9/17/18

An important note from Nurse Jenny

Room Reps needed

We are both in need of Room Reps for each of our classes. If you are interested in being our liaison with PTA and helping us plan holiday parties, please email us.

You won't be doing this job alone! We both have parents who have volunteered to help out our Room Reps, but they are unable to attend the meetings due to their work schedule.

A note on grades

Students who score 60-80 on assignments are approaching grade level expectations. These students will be able to make corrections on the assignment, and the grade on the corrections will replace the original grade.

Students who score below a 60 will be retaught the skill to improve their understanding of the concept. After a reteach, students will have an additional opportunity to demonstrate their new understanding. This grade will also replace the original grade.
