Our Learning Targets
Math: We can use strategies to multiply up to a four-digit number by a one-digit number. PACE Math: We can use factor pairs to determine whether numbers are prime or composite.
Science: We can measure, compare, and contrast the physical properties of matter, including magnetism and temperature. We can predict changes caused by heating and cooling. We can predict changes caused by heating and cooling.
Reading: We can explain an author’s message and theme in a text while reading realistic fiction texts.
Writing: We can write a well organized narrative. We can use use simple and compound sentences correctly in their writing.
Social Studies: We can explain the importance of the US Constitution and explain the functions of the three branches of government.

Being able to notice and then understand others’ feelings is an important part of empathy.
Students will be able to:
Identify clues that help them recognize other people’s feelings
Identify similarities and differences between how two people feel
A note on grades
Students who score below a 60 will be retaught the skill to improve their understanding of the concept. After a reteach, students will have an additional opportunity to demonstrate their new understanding. This grade will also replace the original grade.
