Meg Honey named Teacher of the Year- Congrats to our very own Meg Honey for winning this prestigious, well deserved award!
Monday March 6th- PD Day- Next Monday will be our PD day. We will be meeting here at Northgate from 8-11. After lunch you will be reporting to various sites across the district. We will let you know where you are going once the district finalizes the matrix. Look for a schedule for the morning in the next few days.
CADA conference- Just as an FYI Kelly, Kourtnie, Todd, and Melanie, will be down in San Diego for a leadership conference Wed-Friday.
EMERGENDCY DRILL-The next emergency drill will be an INTRUDER DRILL on Thursday, March 9. This will occur at the end of lunch. Students and staff will evacuate the building / take cover in a safe spot, and then go to the field and line up with their 3rd Period classes. There will be an adjusted bell schedule on this day to reduce the loss of instructional time, and more details to come.
Musical America- Come see our wonderful students perform in Musical America. Friday, 3/3 7pm Saturday, 3/4 7pm Thursday, 3/9 7pm Friday, 3/10 7pm Saturday, 3/11 7pm
NIMB dinner Auction- Don’t miss the 3rd annual Northgate Instrumental Music “Orchestra and Band on the Run” fundraising event on Saturday, March 4, from 6 to 10:30 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lafayette. Click HERE for more information.
Senior banquet-Senior Banquet will be this Sunday March 5, 6pm – 7pm at Heather Farms Lakeside Room, North San Carlos Drive, Walnut Creek, CA,
BELL SCHEDULE CHANGE- Be advised there is a bell schedule change for Monday and Tuesday.
PSAT- PSAT will be held Tuesday March 7th. 10th grade students will be testing in the gym and various classrooms. There will be no bell schedule change. Plan for your 10th graders to be out of class at least periods 1-4. Students are to attend 0 period. Teachers with a portion of their classes made up of 10th graders will be asked to proctor. More information to come.

JUNIOR PROM- Junior Prom is Saturday March 25th on the Hornblower Cruise ship. If you are interested in chaperoning, please talk to Kourtnie.

11:36am–12:30pm Meeting with the Leadership Team and others invited by the school to discuss/clarify findings of visit and the VC report — ALL Leadership Team members have copy of draft VC report (can be electronic) Closure on issues (if any) raised in the earlier session discussing the draft VC report; the VC may revise the report as a result of this meeting; the final draft of the report is completed during this session
12:30pm–2:00pm Completion of draft, the “Accreditation Status Recommendation” and the “Documentation and Justification Statement” Status recommendation is not shared with staff or admin. Completion of expense forms, evaluations, exit PowerPoint presentation for closing meeting.
2:10pm–3:00pm Oral Report to staff/shareholders using a PowerPoint presentation; the principal is encouraged to invite representatives of students, classified staff, and community to attend.
3:00pm–3:30pm Final draft of report left with principal; departure of VC
