Eureka Math (K-5) with Great Minds
Eureka Math - Major Work for 3rd-5th - February 20 - Session #2654775
Desire to know more about how math moves in Eureka? Or how to effectively facilitate the tools and major strategies of your grade band? In this session, educators experience the trajectory of learning from 3rd to 5th grade, revealing the coherence of the curriculum. Participants deepen their understanding of the role of each grade in the grade band and learn strategies for adjusting instruction to meet student needs.
Introduction to Eureka Math TEKS Edition
This session will support teachers, coaches, and school leaders with implementing Eureka Math TEKS Edition (K-5) at their campus. This engaging session will provide participants with additional training, support, and resources to understand the components of Eureka Math and equip them to implement the curriculum with fidelity. We will dive into Eureka Math TEKS Edition, discuss effective planning and internalization protocols, and support you in the implementation of using this High-Quality Instructional Material (HQIM) at your campus.
This is a great opportunity for new teachers that missed the initial training. We have multiple options to support districts that are hiring throughout the year.

Instructional Resources - TRS & TCR
Districts that are currently using TRS and are planning to implement Eureka, Carnegie, and Amplify will be able to switch over to TCR at no additional cost. The Vertical Alignment Documents and Year-At-A-Glance documents in the TCR system are aligned to these products. Please see visual below for what each resource system provides.
Eureka and Carnegie are already available in the TCR system. Amplify will be made available soon.
If you are implementing Eureka, Carnegie, or Amplify and would like to learn more about how to transition from TRS to TCR, please reach out to Angela Greca at angela.greca@region10.org.
Check out Duncanville ISD!
Duncanville ISD has been on a journey to improve literacy instructional practices district wide. They began this work by developing their literacy instructional framework that was grounded in research in 2022-23. Through this process, they identified the need for all students to have access to rigorous high quality instructional materials. In 2023-24 they began implementation of K-5 Texas Literacy (Amplify). Implementation began with strategic planning, strong communication, and developing teachers through professional development and coaching with the support of Region 10 HQIM Team.
District leaders have been supportive of the K-5 Texas Literacy (Amplify) curriculum and are ensuring it is used in every classrooms. Campus leaders discuss the materials and internalization processes during team collaboration time, they look for evidence of implementation in the classroom, and have follow-up conversations with teachers. During our district calibration walks we have seen strong evidence of teachers internalizing the lessons and delivering the lessons with fidelity. They have exhibited in the calibration walks 100% implementation of research based instructional strategies (RBIS) and effective use of the adopted instructional materials. Duncanville ISD's systemic approach to adopting and implementing new instructional materials has resulted in the successful implementation at every elementary and intermediate campus.
