Week 1, Term 4

14 October 2021

Dear Parents and Caregivers

We hope you and your whānau have had time to rest, relax and recharge, and connect outside with close friends and whānau. We are in unprecedented times and consequently the government is taking extraordinary measures to contain the spread of the Delta variant. Our board and staff would like to thank everyone for following the alert level guidelines.

Tomorrow you and your child will receive an email from their classroom teacher. The email will provide an overview of the Term 4 Distance Learning Programme. Please support your child to be prepared for their online meetings on Monday morning.

On Site Supervision

In the current alert level our school essentially remains closed with the exception of those few children whose parents work away from home and cannot arrange suitable supervision. Onsite staff will supervise students with their distance learning.

It is important that you tell us if your child requires supervision at school from Monday, 18 October. Please complete the Google Form if your child needs supervision. We will email you to confirm your child’s registration.

As always, please let us know if there is anything we can do to further support you and your whānau.

Stay safe.
