In the Cafeteria
Starting October 29th through November 26th we will have Taste-It Tuesday. The students eating school lunch will have the opportunity to sample some new products with their meal. We hope the children will try the new items and share their thoughts with the Nutrition Services staff and at home with their families. We believe eating a variety of foods is the most beneficial way to eat. We hope that with this program, we can start exploring and expanding our children’s tastes at lunch time!
10/ 29-Granny Smith Apples, 11/ 5-Hummus, 11/12- Jicama, 11/19-Sweet Potato and 11/26- Pumpkin.
Just a reminder that breakfast is served daily in the cafeteria. It is very important that every child eat breakfast at home or at school before they start their day at school. Breakfast is $1.40, reduced is .30 cents and students that qualify for free lunch are eligible for a free breakfast. Thanks for choosing School Breakfast and Lunch!
