Characteristics
Did you know that Titan is Saturn's largest moon? It also has a radius of 1,600 miles! That makes it the second largest moon in the solar system! Titan is also known to have liquids flowing across the surface; it even has seas, lakes, and oceans of water, liquid methane , and ethane.
Orbit/Discovery
Titan was discovered on March 25th, of 1655 by Christiaan Huygens. While Titian is orbiting Saturn is travels a distance of about 760,000 miles. It also takes Titian about 16 days to fully orbit Saturn.
General Info
Some general Information about Titan could consist of anything to someone. But in this project I thought that some things fit better than others. One of those things being how big the moon is, Titan has a radius of 1,601 miles. Making it the second largest moon in the solar system. Titan also has a thick dense atmosphere; four times denser than Earth. While Earths clouds are made up of water Titans clouds are made of methane and ethane.
