Dear Area 31 Entrepreneurs and Friends,

The coming week will be full with activities in Area 31. Watch out for some of the highlights! On Monday, we will host the Acceleration Camp for the EU Mobile Challenge in the morning. In the afternoon, you can sign up to participate on Pitch to Peers, an opportunity to strengthen your presentation skills. On Tuesday, a representative of Agrotech Startup will come to Area 31 to meet those of you interested in learning about the €5Mn they will disburse to startups. Our very own Venture Network will feature pitches and feedback from investors on Thursday. Finally, the first Betabeers Madrid event of 2015 is on Friday. If you're looking for a developer don't miss this opportunity to network with them and pitch your project.

EU Mobile Challenge Acceleration Camp

Location: Area 31, The Garden


The Acceleration Camp is intended to provide teams competing in the EU Mobile challenge with a tangible roadmap of how to take their mobile app ideas and make them commercial-ready.This involves introducing them to the lean start-up methodology and outline the best practices in mobile app development from other developers. During the Acceleration Programme, teams will be exposed to potential corporate partners, accelerators, and angel investors who could provide them with additional support during the coming months.

Sparring for Investment Readiness. A Startup entrepreneur, prepared to convince investors, pitches to an audience of fellow entrepreneurs and experts. Working in teams of five, the participants provide valuable feedback to improve the pitch and investment readiness of the Startup. Sign up here

Venture Lab Session

Private sessions for participants in IE Business School's Venture Lab accelerator. This is the first session for the new Venture Lab intake. The teams will be introduced to the Venture Lab methodology and they will have a first opportunity to pitch their ideas.

Agrotech Startup Coming to Area 31
