The Lincoln Lightning
"Your SPARK of information!"
August 2021 - A message from Dr. Miner
Dear Lincoln Families:
I’m so excited to welcome you to the 2021-22 school year! Yet again, this is certain to be a year like no other. We are enthusiastic and optimistic and we can’t wait to begin! Our theme for this year is ‘Find Your SPARK - Lincoln Ingites Learning’! This year we may need to continue to adjust, adapt and be many things; we will look for hidden opportunities and build upon our many strengths. We know that with hope, flexibility, and a positive attitude anything is possible!
I know you have received numerous emails, so I will try to condense and share what is necessary and needed at this time. Know that our staff is anxious to have all of our students back in our new building. We will be finding ways to connect and create a positive learning community - many of these will be outside. I ask for your support and grace as we embark on our 2021-22 learning journey and I truly welcome all thoughts, ideas, and feedback. Please reach out via phone or email at any time.
In partnership,
Michelle Miner, EdD
Principal, Lincoln Elementary, Best School in the Universe

Lincoln's Fall BBQ
Hi everyone, as the end of the school year approaches, we wanted to let you know about an exciting event that will occur at the beginning of next school year. Yes, the Lincoln BBQ will return! It will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 from approximately 5 pm to 7 pm on the school grounds. It will be a great time to get reacquainted with each other at the beginning of the school year, and enjoy our new school. The Tosa East marching band has already committed to attending, and of course we will have delicious food prepared by the dads of Lincoln. Thank you to the Lincoln PTO for sponsoring this great event.
If any dads would like to volunteer, please contact me at bfoley8142@gmail.com or 414-477-9132.
Thanks!
Brad Foley
