STAFF ONLY:
Summer Session: Think summer! 1) If you're interested in teaching summer session, please notify Anzelc ASAP! It will soon open up to HS and ES teachers to teach it depending on your interest. Summer session takes place the last 3 weeks of June from 8am-12:00pm. 2) Please complete the suggested summer session student list by April 1st. Students selected for summer session will have to meet the requirement of benefiting from both math and English support. Summer session is a mix of a) review of concepts , b) preview of ones to come in the beginning of the year, and c) fun factor and relationship building. The list is here.
SBAC Log-In: Please click here to access the CAASPP website. Log-in to TOMS and sign the security agreements and affidavits before you go on break. If you have issues-email Taniia.
Behavior Expectations: Q4 is coming! Spring fever! Energy craze! Transition time! Love is in the air! Let's be proactive and review expectations with our Pirate family! Vision Screening: 8th grade team will need to take their 1st period class to O-1 for vision screening. Schedule to come. Please plan accordingly.
8th Grade Promotion: Save the date for 8th promo! All staff are required to attend. Promo is Thursday May 28 at 5pm in the NP3 Gym.
DC/NYC Trip: FYI! We will have some staff and 8th grade students out for the annual DC/NYC trip March 13-March 17. Our babies depart on the eve of the 12th.

- Student Intent To Return Forms: Did you get your form in? If you lost your copy click here for a 6th/7th grade form and click here for an 8th grade form.
- Civic Award: We have been recognized for our work and dedication as a community toward civic engagement - this means we are a model school for our civics curriculum and activities and engagement with our community. Both NP3 Middle and High Schools received the Civic Engagement Award of Distinction. This is awesome! It's a proud day to be a Pirate! The work we are being recognized for is 1) social studies content and instruction , 2) practices and curriculum for Student Government, leadership skills and action teams, and 3) Advisory! WE ARE EXCITED! Goo Pirates!

- Overbooked Action Team: One of our very own action teams has something to share with EVERYONE! Please see the attached Literacy Newsletter from NP3's Overbooked Action Team!
- Leadership Day: May 22 is Leadership Day! This day is special and unique in celebrating and highlighting our student's leadership skills and amazing community through activities and showcasing action teams! This year we want to add small businesses and youth-based programs to participate in our celebration! If you or someone you know would like to participate in a booth, please have them email rclark@natomasunified.org.
- Q3 Conferences: Our Q3 student lead conferences will be held the week of March 9-13. We can't wait to see you all! Mon-Wed dismissal time will be 12:59. Thurs-Fri dismissal time will be 12:11. Students will be off for Spring Break following conference week Mon March 16- Fri March 27. School will resume on Mon March 30.
- Pizza and Ice Drink Sale: Student Government is selling pizza after school on Thurs March 12 in the quad. Pizza will be sold for $1 a slice.
- Natomas 5k: Save the date! Sat April 25 NP3 will participate by running/walking in the Natomas 5k "Run for Their Future" at Inderkum HS. ALL NP3 students will be sponsored. Click here to register your student for free and use the promo code "NP320" when checking out. If you would prefer us to register your student click here and turn this in to your teacher or front office staff. If you would like to run with your student, there is a fee per runner/walker. This is a fun community event for all ages and the proceeds will be used by the Natomas Foundation to help students within the Natomas community. We hope to see you there!
