Clubs Dismissal Time

If your child is in after school clubs, please do not enter the dismissal line until 3:45 or later. This will help get all the students that are not in clubs dismissed first and ensure clubs dismissal will run smoothly.

What are the benefits of Home Visits?

The purpose of the home visit program is to build relationships between the school and the home, informing parents of student specific classroom information, as well as various HPS programs and school events that are available.

If you wish to have your student's teacher or another staff member come for a home visit, please contact Ms. Schaefer at mschaefer@harmonytx.org.

Come eat lunch with your child

We understand that parents love the opportunity to have lunch with their students.

This is why parents can come eat with their students on Tuesdays and Thursday. There will also be one Friday a month which will be announced. Please make sure to stop by the front office to sign in. No one is allowed to enter the cafeteria without first signing in at the front office.

Drop Off & Dismissal Procedures

Please make sure that we are following our procedures for drop off and dismissal.

ALL parents must enter from the feeder of 1093 by the Aura Grand Apartments. You may not enter the dismissal line from 99, the Grand Parkway. This includes coming down Grand Corner Drive and u-turning near the courthouse. Our traffic flow does not allow it. This would be considered as "cutting in line".

As a reminder, dismissal starts at 2:55. If you have a secondary student please do not enter the line before 3:20 to ensure a smooth pick up of all of your children.

Please keep in mind our campus only has 1 dismissal line. We are currently in the process of obtaining Fort Bend County Police Officers to monitor our dismissal. Until that time, we ask that everyone is polite and patient to ensure the safety of all of your children.

Who has the winning Golden Ticket?

Each student has been given a packet with a Golden Ticket number. One student at Harmony Science Academy Katy has a winning Golden Ticket!

Thank you to everyone who has already participated. However, as of this morning, our school has not yet had a winner. The winning ticket is still out there!

To see if your family has it, grab the packet your child brought home, go to schoolstore.net, and sign up for the program.

If you have not participated, the winning ticket may be in your hands. Please help us raise needed funds with this simple and safe email program by participating today. Your family may have the Winning Golden Ticket.

GATE Referrals

Gifted and Talented referral forms are currently in the front office and on the school's website for newly enrolled HSA Katy students. Please submit form to the front office. All forms must be turned in by Friday, September 28th. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Blackwell (GATE Coordinator) at hblackwell@harmonytx.org.
