AMMS Blue Out
We are excited to start having the annual Blue Out again. Students get to play basketball against Autrey Mill staff, teachers and admin.
Blue Out raffle tickets can be purchased on the PBIS app using PBIS points. Every point buys one ticket. You can purchase as many raffle tickets as you have points, this increases your chance of being on the student team, but does not guarantee a spot.
The student team will compose of 10 raffle winners. Those students will play against the teachers in an exciting, action-packed game on February 22nd right after school.

Parents and Rising 9th Graders Course Recommendation Information
Parents and Rising Gladiators,
At this time, we are sending you the directions which will allow you to view the teacher recommendations for the next school year and to then add any electives you wish to take.
Please, follow the steps as outlined on the attached screenshots to navigate through the process. Students should only choose electives that they are qualified to register for even though others may appear as available.
Unfortunately, the program cannot determine if the student is qualified or not to take the course at this step. If they are not qualified, they will be removed from the course which will leave gaps in their schedule.
Attached you can also find a list of electives that they can choose from so that they can add the correct courses without any delays. Some courses are very sought after, and time is of the essence. Requests will be time stamped and those getting these in first will get the first seats in those classes. Ms. Hudson, the Master Scheduler from the high school, will be present during lunches next week to provide any assistance should students need help.
On March 1 students will have access to the final course request form where they can change the requests through the waiver process or change their electives.
If you have any questions about this process or course recommendations, please contact your student’s teachers or Ms. Turner at turnerA1@fultonschools.org .
Click here for the steps to follow to access course recommendations in Infinite Campus.

The Deadline for Fulton County Schools Hardship Transfer Application is Feb. 28, 2023
Applications are available beginning January 1, 2023, for parents who wish to apply for a 2023-24 hardship transfer or to renew a current hardship to another Fulton County Schools (FCS) elementary, middle or high school.
Parents will use an online form, available through the school system’s website, to enter and submit their information. Hard copy applications are not required, with the exception of medical transfers which require pertinent medical provider’s signatures and documentation.
The deadline for submitting a transfer application is Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, by 4:30 p.m., with no exceptions or extensions granted. All requests must be received or postmarked by this date and time. In addition, school system employees who have children receiving an employee hardship transfer must renew their request.
The February 28 deadline applies to students and parents seeking a hardship transfer for medical reasons, curriculum differences, and child care situations or for employees’ children.
Schools participating in open enrollment, a separate transfer process that allows students to move to a school with available space, will be announced in early May.
Parents with questions or who need more information about hardship transfers can contact the FCS’ Student Assignment Office at 470-254-5550 or visit https://www.fultonschools.org/hardshiptransfers.

FCS COVID 19 Reporting Procedures
FCS COVID 19 Reporting
Due to the ever-changing nature of this pandemic, the district will continue to monitor COVID data and recommendations, consult with public health officials, and make additional adjustments as necessary. If your child is sick, please keep them home. Families are still required to report a confirmed positive case of COVID-19, a pending COVID-19 test result (regardless of the reason for testing), and a direct contact with a person who is COVID-19 positive. FCS student/parents must use the Parent Reporting Portal to make the COVID-19 report.
