John Locke's Life
He was a 17th century English Philosopher that was born on August 29, 1632 and died on October 28, 1704. He was a social Activist for government, political theory, epistemology, and religion during the Enlightenment period.

Social Contract
This was an untold agreement that the government was supposed to protect the rights of the people. These rights included the freedom of life, liberty, and the pursuit of property. He also stated that if the government does not uphold their end of the contract, the people may rebel and replace that government with a new one.
