You are invited to join our Title 1 leadership team to help us plan for FY24. We would love to have your input on next year’s parent and family engagement events, the Title I Schoolwide Plan, and the site Title I budget.

When: April 4th 4:15-5:15

Where: SSE Library

First you need to decide what drop off area is right for your family.

If your student(s) can open their own door and have their backpacks and supplies ready to go once you stop, then curbside drop off is an option for your students.

Curbside drop and go procedures:

*To ensure that traffic is not backing up onto Fairview Loop, vehicles are to line up at the curb on the right side of the parking lot.

*Once you stop at the sidewalk, students are to only exit cars from the right side directly next to the sidewalk and then walk to the front of the school.

*Please do not wait until your child is directly in front of the school as this will delay the process.

If your student(s) are unable to exit the vehicle by themselves or are unable to be prepared to get out when your vehicle stops at the curb, then park and walk is the best option to use.

Park and Walk:

*Park in the parking lot.

*Walk your student to the crosswalk.

*Students may cross on their own or with you when the crossing guard signals that it is safe.

It is illegal to park in a designated handicap parking spot without handicap license plates or a handicap placard on your rearview mirror.

We appreciate your assistance in keeping our much needed handicap parking for those that need it.

4th & 5th Grade Track Season starts April 3 – May 6.

Practices are before school from 8AM-9AM

Boys practice Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Girls practice Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Fee is $30 and can be paid online starting Friday, 3/24 through SchoolPay. Access that through your ParentVue account. Click on the Fees section, click on "pay fees" and find Track and Field 4th & 5th Grade.

As weather warms up, we have many students leaving coats, hats, and gloves outside during recess, which end up in our lost and found.

If your students are coming home without these items, please have them check the lost and found. All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity at the end of the school year.

Notices were handed out at Parent Conferences for students that have overdue library books. Please find those books and get them returned to the library. If your student's book is lost and needs to be paid for, you may see Lynn in the office or call 907-352-9535 to make payment.
