Sparling Newsletter
March 2022
Dear Families
March is here and we are seeing alot of smiling faces at Sparling School! As many are aware we have seen changes to the covid restrictions which include cohorting and masking. We will be adjusting some of our procedures in the coming weeks with the goal to keep learning at the forefront! We have noticed the students do well with the staggered drop off and dismissal, as it creates a calm and quiet start to the day! Another positive was assigning the playground to one class/grade at recess to help with safety. Since our playground is smaller this has been a great way to ensure all can enjoy and have the space to play! As we continue to move forward please watch for updates on parent volunteers, upcoming events, and parent teacher interviews (both in person and virtual options).
Please watch for some upcoming parent information nights around internet safety and digital citizenship. We will be inviting local partners to help support families with understanding various social media apps, video games, and how to keep our children safe when online. You will find some great resources in this newsletter as well.
It is time for Kindergarten Registration! If you know families looking to register, please let them know they can contact the office or check out the website. We also have all the links to register in this newsletter.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Gutmann
