NEW START TIMES STARTING WEDNESDAY!
Arrival
Starting on Wednesday, September 20th our doors will open for students at 8:35am and students must be in the building by 8:45am to be considered on time.
Dismissal
Starting on Wednesday, September 20th our students will be dismissed at 3:15pm.
We are aware that Thomas Viaduct Middle School will also begin their dismissal at 3:15pm, due to this time shift, we are still asking that parents arrange for someone other than a middle school student to meet a student from our school. We do not have the staff required to monitor students waiting for students from another school to walk home together. Our parents/guardians have done a nice job thus far with arranging a walking dismissal routine for our students this year.
A Message from Administration
Greetings DLES Community,
We wanted to thank all of our parents that were able to attend our Back to School Night sessions this week. We value our partnership with our students parents and know that our children are able to accomplish so much more when we can all work together to help them achieve their goals.
We are looking forward to coming together as a school community for our Back to School Bash. We will be outside on the blacktop and bus loop area from 5:30-7:00pm. This is NOT an event for children to attend alone-an adult must be present and stay for the event. Please look below for the order form for pizza and party pack options. All orders must be turned in by Septber 26th.
If you have not already joined PTA, we strongly encourage you to join. Our PTA provides some amazing resources for our students and teachers. The goal of our PTA is to make this the most amazing learning environment for everyone.
We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday.
Proudly Serving You,
Mrs. Caroland, Mrs. Van Osdel, and Mrs. Yerashunas
