STEM Night - Tuesday, March 8th
For this year's Science (STEM) Night and Book fair we are asking families to:
- Enter and exit the door designated for your child's grade level. If you have students in multiple grade levels, pick one to enter and exit through.
- Stay together. The teachers are focused on the experiments and they are not able to help with "crowd control".
- Rotate the building in a clockwise manner. Go with the flow of traffic.
This is such a fun event and we are excited to be able to have it again this year!
Lost & Found - Find It Fridays!

BOOK FAIR - Book Fair is starting next week! We are so excited to welcome the Book Fair back to Bush and that means we will need some volunteers for set up, preview days and sales. If you are available, please take a look at the signup genius.
SHELVING BOOKS - We continue to need help shelving books through the end of the year. If you have some availability, please check out the sign up!
ART ROOM - Help Kindergarten, First and Second Grade for Paper Mache Putty Making.
Carline Help - We are in need of volunteers to assist with our morning Carline. Carline is from 7:30am - 8:00am and you can simply report to the front ramp and assist opening car doors for our students. No need to check in at the front office.
Bush Substitutes Wanted
We love all the substitutes that work at Bush. Many of our Bush parents enjoy to serve in this role, and we love to have our parents at our school. If you would like to apply to be a substitute for CISD, you can apply here. In case you weren’t aware, you can register at specific schools. For example, if you have a student at Bush, one at Mitchell and one at McCullough, you can sign up to sub at just those three schools. We hope to see you on our substitute list very soon. If you have any questions please contact the CISD substitute office at 936-709-7859.
