Greetings Awesome Guzick Giant Parents,


We are heading into our shortest month of the school year, but the most exciting month. We are celebrating Black History Month, Kindness Week, and will be starting our academic goal parties in the month of February. We look forward to celebrating the success of our students one step at a time. As always, thank you for your partnership, engagement, and support. Check out the newsletter below with important dates and reminders. We will continue to inform you throughout this year on important topics via School Messenger emails, our FaceBook page, and/or the REMIND APP.


Nos dirigimos a nuestro mes más corto del año escolar, pero el mes más emocionante. Estamos celebrando el Mes de la Historia Negra, la Semana de la Bondad y comenzaremos nuestras fiestas de objetivos académicos en el mes de febrero. Classroom Parties ~ Fiestas en el aula

Outside of celebrations for academic and social achievement aligned to our CIP Goals, there are four days during the school year when we host classroom parties. On these four days, we encourage our parents to send treats and other items to help with the celebration. Those days this school year are:


  1. Monday, October 31, 2022
  2. Wednesday, December 21, 2022
  3. Tuesday, February 14, 2023
  4. Friday, May 26, 2023


Fuera de las celebraciones por logros académicos y sociales alineados con nuestras Metas CIP, hay cuatro días durante el año escolar en los que organizamos fiestas en los salones. En estos cuatro días, alentamos a nuestros padres a enviar golosinas y otros artículos para ayudar con la celebración. Esos días este año escolar son:
