Big picture

Whether SCC students plan to go to college, apply for an apprenticeship, join the military, or go right into the workforce, it is our goal and responsibility to keep students moving forward toward a happy, successful career and future!

The SCC CAREER CONNECTION provides students another layer of support and resources needed to achieve their post-secondary plans and career goals. In mid-October 2020, in connection with SCC's Career and College Month activities, students completed a Pre-SCC Career Connection Survey to determine post-secondary planning needs and priorities. In April 2021, in connection with College and Career Signing Month, students completed a Post-SCC Career Connection Survey.

Following is just some of the pre- and post-survey data indicating students' progress for the 2020-2021 school year. We will continue to reach out to students who need additional career and college planning support.
