A Message from Mr. Symank
I hope that everyone is doing well and looking forward to our upcoming Spring Break. It seems like the first half of this semester has flown past, and it won’t be long until we’re discussing plans for the end of the year. Hopefully, our weather over the break will be a little dryer and much warmer than it has been recently, and our students can spend some quality time outside.
Our picture day for the Spring Semester will be Tuesday, March 26. For our 6th grade students, these pictures will be on their ID Badges for next year at the middle school level.
With the cooler temperatures in the morning giving way to the warmer weather in the afternoon, our lost and found has grown exponentially in the last few weeks. This week, on Thursday and Friday, we will set out all the clothes on tables during lunch for students to look through. Whatever is left at the end of the week will be donated. Please encourage your students to check for anything they may have misplaced.
A lot is taking place this March, and I have listed some dates below that you may want to note on your calendars.
Spring Break: March 12 – March 16
Spring Picture Day: March 26
As always, thank you for the opportunity to work with your amazing children.

The "Aloha Spring" Book Fair was a great success!
Overall the fair raised over $2700! The families that attended Tuesday evening's event enjoyed leisurely shopping, good food and great company. They bought some great books totaling over $400!
Because of the generosity of parents, students and teachers the library was able to provide almost $1000 worth of books, mostly to teachers classrooms and some to the library. And, now that the book fair is over, we still have over $1400 in scholastic dollars available for the librarian to spend on even more books for the library, teachers and students.
