I Have a Dream
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin was born in 1929 on January 15, in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up there too. Martin Luther King Jr. was a peaceful baby. He didn't cry, so his parents took him to the hospital, the doctor thought he was dead so they slapped him. He finally cried and other times he was a quiet baby. He told his friends one time he went on bus his parents paid for him and he sat anywhere he wanted then white people came and the man said to give up there seats Martin and his friends did not but then there teacher said that is the law so they got up and they were mad so Martin hated Jim Crow laws as much a his father did. He went to school he was very smart. He made the most famous speech. Finally he died.
