Getting There

What if you could get away from everything? Relax on a beach with the sun shining down on you? Why don't you take an amazing vacation to Nassau? The flight has one stop in Houston, Texas or you can get a non-stop flight. The plain takes off from DIA and lands at NAS. I would recommend calling a cab, to get from NAS to your hotel.

Where to Stay

The Reef Atlantis is definitely the most beautiful place to stay in Nassau, it has many pools and a perfect ocean view. It includes it's own water park (which suits better to the younger guests) so you can enjoy the ocean and the rides. If you have the expensive taste, you should go with the 2BR Ocean Suite- which includes one king bed and one sleeper sofa. If your going to go on a vacation like this, might as well make the best of it. The Reef Atlantis has a spa for you if you need to relax (which is perfect for the ladies) and the kids can still enjoy the water and fun under the sun.

Activities

In the Bahamas there are obviously an abundance of things to do, one being:

Scuba Diving in Stuart Cove- An all day reservation starts at 9:00am and costs a total of $409.50 for two adults. This is a perfect experience for the guests who are animal/sea life lovers.

Sky Diving- This is not an activity for the faint-hearted, but it's more of a thrill-seeker's dream, sky diving in Nassau is a great way to get that adrenaline feeling pumping through you!

Swimming With The Dolphins- This is a good way to live the best experience ever! It's almost like you can control the dolphins and getting to kiss one maybe? I know that's my prince charming moment right there. Dolphins are cute and make cute little squeaking noises so why not go spend a little bit of time with them?

Bungee Jumping In Nassau- Bungee jumping is also obviously a thrill seekers activity, but is fun at the same time!

History And Culture

Most people who live in the Bahamas are of West African descent because of being forced to slavery on the island. Others are descendants of English Puritans who went to Bermuds to find religious freedom. A popular Bahamian holidy is Junkanoo, where thousands of people dress up in bright and decorative costumes and dance along to Bahmaian music in the streets.
