English III
American Literature
How do I start this?
- You will receive weekly assignment sets from me.
- You will have the opportunity to retake assessments after reteaching sessions.
- Most of our lessons will be recorded and posted so that you can access them when you need to.
- I will be holding office hours for consultation. Those hours will be posted here for each class.
- Students will receive direct instruction from me weekly, use an assigned OneNote notebook, and complete assignments through APEX and various online tools.
- At least two scores will be earned and entered weekly.
Student expectations

Why do we study American Literature?
- What makes American Literature American?
- Who are we? What do we say about ourselves?
