Sherburn Hungate Weekly News - Issue 3
A word from Mr Broom
Thank you also for your wonderful support with the ALDI sticker promotion. I'm delighted to inform you that we have managed to complete not one but two sticker charts, meaning we've doubled our chances of winning £20k of sports equipment for our children. That's amazing!
There's still a few people who need to complete our consent/home-school agreement form. Here's the link if you've yet to do it. http://bit.ly/SHPConsent1920.
Finally, thank you to the parents who brought to my attention the use of foul and abusive language on our school playground. The issue has been dealt with and shouldn't happen again.

Head Lice
To reduce the spread, we ask that if your child has long hair that it is tied up. Please also check your child's hair regularly and treat any infection in line with the recommendations provided by the treatment.
Census Day Meals
The school census day is next Thursday (3rd October) and a lot of our funding depends on the number of children taking a school meal on that day. We've therefore changed the menu to Hot Dogs, Curly Fries, Coleslaw, Salad, Fruit Jelly or Custard. We'll be giving a sample meal to all KS1 and Reception children even if they bring a pack up. Thank you for your support with this.
