Masks are OPTIONAL at graduation this year.
Students are encouraged to be in business casual wear with comfortable shoes. You will be standing in the tunnels for about 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Business casual can include dresses, slacks, and button-downs, or polos.
Caps may not be decorated. That is a tradition you may look forward to at your college graduation ceremony.

Caps & Gowns
Mandatory Senior Meeting - Thursday, May 26th 9am
All seniors must attend this meeting in person.
Thursday, May 26th
Seating begins @ 8:15 am
Attendance will be taken at 9:00 a.m.
GPHS Auditorium
- Senior awards will be issued!
- Seniors will have an opportunity to pay any outstanding fine(s).
- Seniors will turn in their Chromebooks at this time.
Graduation Practice - May 27th
Attendance is mandatory in order for graduates to participate in the graduation ceremony (as outlined in board policy).
All GPISD students are required to sign the GPISD Ceremony Acknowledgment form. Click the image below for more information.

Parking and Arrival @ NRG
Entry Info
Entry into NRG for the graduation ceremony will begin at 11:30 am for graduates and 12:00 p.m. for guests!
- Students, please be on time!
All students and guests will park in the BLUE lot. Parking is $20 CASH
All graduates will walk in through the BHP gate.
Guests will walk in the Bud/Ford plaza. All graduates and guests will exit the Ford gate.
Families should make arrangements to unite outside of the Ford Gate.

Shuttle Information
GPHS will provide a student and parent shuttle to graduation.
Graduation Regalia & Search
All graduates will go through a search upon entry and may only carry in their caps and gowns. Cell phones are not allowed on the floor at NRG. Graduates should leave their phones with their family members.
Any cell phones collected at NRG will be available for pick up at GPHS on Tuesday, May 31st following the Memorial Day Holiday.
Please wear only honor cords and stoles earned from GPHS. Any non-approved graduation cords will not be allowed to be worn by GPHS graduates. Caps are not to be decorated. The only item attached to your cap should be your tassel.

Fines must be paid prior to picking up your diplomas
Diploma Pick-Up
Diploma pick-up will begin June 2 in the Registrar’s office. Please bring a valid ID when picking up your diplomas.
All senior fees and fines must be paid prior to picking up diplomas.
Transcript Information
Please click the button below to be taken to the transcript request webpage. Follow the instructions carefully on the google form to request your final transcript.
Any currently enrolled student transcript request(s) received on/after May 16, 2022 will not be processed until after June 9, 2022 when final grades and final transcripts are posted. If a transcript is needed prior to this date, please complete your request in person in the Registrar’s office during school hours.
Please ONLY use the Class of 2022 Final Transcript Request link to request your final transcripts. If you have any questions, contact the Registrar’s office at 832-386-2901.
