PLEASE WEAR PINK! THE FIRST 50 STUDENTS IN THE DOOR WILL RECEIVE A FREE SLICE OF PIZZA WITH ADMISSION! WE WILL HAVE 50/50, BUCKETS OF HOPE DONATION JARS, AND BAKE SALES. Thank you for attending Parent-Teacher Conferences!

We appreciate parents making time to attend our conferences. We had a wonderful turnout and were able to connect with so many families. The survey information that was provided will allow us to make improvements for the future.

College and Career Expo

Columbia Central will host a College and Career Expo for all juniors and seniors including those students in the Addison, Onsted, and Napoleon school districts. The event will be held on October 17th and include over 80 vendors. Students will be able to talk with college advisors, entrepreneurs, and the military about their upcoming future decisions. This will be a great opportunity for our students.

Our National Honor Society, Leadership class, and Student Senate attended the Student Leadership Conference held at Michigan State University this past week.

Class of 2018 Cap and Gown Graduation Product Information

November 29-Seniors receive ordering information during the senior class meeting. Extra information will be kept in the CCHS office.

December 6-Seniors submit grad orders during lunch hours. Mail and web order deadline is December 22.

Payment-$50 deposit is requested. Orders totaling less than $50, please make the payment in full.

Balance Due-Statements will be emailed to those with a balance due the beginning of each month. The total balance must be paid for by March 15.

Distribution-Grad products excluding cap and gown will be distributed to students in late May or early April. Caps and gowns will be distributed to students in May.

Caps and Gowns-The cost is $31. Students are permitted to wear a gown from a sibling or neighbor and can purchase a matching cap and tassel for $18.

Most Teens Don't

October 24th-27th, our Most Teens Don't group will be sponsoring Red Ribbon Week to bring awareness to issues surrounding substance abuse. The group will be hosting many activities which include a "Wear Red" day contest, with prizes, to be held on Thursday, October 26th.

Mr. Lesinski

Mr. John Lesinski teaches health and physical education. He is a graduate of Grass Lake High School and Albion College, where he also played college football. Mr. Lesinski often volunteers to help with the Columbia Central High School football program and is a strong advocate for youth sports. His hobbies include hunting and fishing. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Lesinski to the Columbia School District family!
