What Will We Be Learning This Week??
Reading: We will explore non-fiction books using tools like inferencing and text features. We will practice retelling information we learned from a non-fiction text.
We will be taking the November ISIP assessment on iStation. It is super helpful if each learner completes this on their own and within the first week of the month. Thanks!
Writing: We will continue writing informational texts about our new nonfiction topics.
Math: We will compose and decompose numbers to the thousands place in more than one way as a sum of so many thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones.
Social Studies: We will identify and describe the significance of various community, state, and national landmarks through listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Science: We will investigate the way light energy affects objects. We will record and organize data about the effects of light energy in pictures and words.

- All Week - LAST week of Write-a-Check Fundraiser!
- November 1st - Daylight Savings Time
- November 2nd - PTO Meeting (6:00 on Zoom)
- November 3rd - Election Day!
- November 4th - College shirt day!
- November 4th - Library Book Pickup (11:00-1:00)
