Week of 12-3-18
It's December!
Only one page on the 2018 calendar left! I still have to stop and think to keep myself from writing 2017 and now it's nearly 2019. That could be an age issue instead of time flying though.
THANK YOU to the Morgan PBIS Committee for a great staff meeting last Tuesday and for organizing our revitalization of the 8 Keys of Excellence and school-wide expectations for all Morgan students! You have dedicated hours of time to PBIS and it was great to see the 100% participation vote confirm that we are all on board with this program.
On Wednesday of this week, starting at 1 PM, we will begin our re-focus on student behavior with our assembly on having assembly behavior. Sixth grades paired with Kindergarten and fifth grades with first today as they met their classroom buddies to work together. Lots of positive energy flowing that we want to see continue to pulse through Morgan as we help our kids take Ownership of their choices, Speak with Good Purpose in their conversations to each other and adults, Commit to making Morgan a great place to learn each day and show Integrity in their actions and academic grit! Exciting initiative and the PBIS team has made this all a reality!
Have a great week!

$200 Teacher Spending
To spend the money, you can provide an order with the items you would like and we can create a Purchase Order (PO) to send in the order. Two first grade teachers found some great items on Really Good Stuff, and a coupon code to get even more as they were on sale! Many of the items met IRP needs.
If you spend money out of your pocket, you would need to submit the receipt for reimbursement through your paycheck. This will not cover taxes paid, so please check with the main office regarding tax exempt purchases.
We have PO vendors such as: Office Depot, School Specialty, Really Good Stuff, Lakeshore Learning, Oriental Trading, and more.
Questions, let me know.

Teachers should bring an F & P running record to the training.
