Facebook Safety
Facebook safety is very important. You don't want to be friends with anyone you don't know, because you can see them through the computer screen, they can a raper, or a killer. Understand your privacy settings on Facebook, go to your privacy settings and put "friends only" to see your stuff. If you don't have "friends only" people can see your profile, and your pictures which may be a safety hazard. Limit your applications, think about it before you do a celebrity pop quiz, these quizzes can give viruses to your computer. Protect your location, on your "about me" don't have your location of your house, there are people that don't know you that can look up your house, and can steal, kidnap or etc. Don't over-share, be considerate on what you are sharing, remember when you share, its never forgotten, it will always be out there, no matter what! Studies say that 74% of parents whose kids use Facebook admit being concerned about their child's safety. Their are many dangers on using Facebook. Some parents "friend" their child to they to think that all the dangers are gone, but there not. keep log in and password information private, only you and your parents should know. Parents should also have complete access to your Facebook. Also facebookers should watch what they are posting. Sexual predators will use what kids is harmless photo to do illegal crimes. There should be a limit time on the internet. These websites such a Facebook can be addicting.
