One Tool-At-A-Time brings you five 30-minute online tutorials on some of the top tech tools for school counselors. Capitalizing on holiday downtime and your desire to reenergize for the rest of the school year, this series is presented between Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. This series is brought to you by SCOPE.

Is there a charge? No. These tutorials are FREE!


What is SCOPE? Otherwise known as School Counselors' Online Professional Exchange, SCOPE has been around since 2011 as a community for school counselors to learn about technology. Look for a redesigned SCOPE site in January 2014!


How do I register? No registration is required. To participate live visit the SCOPE Google+ events page on the day and time of the event and join the hangout or view the recorded events at your convenience on the SCOPE YouTube Channel. You can also visit this flyer to view the webinars live or after they are recorded. See the recordings in the boxes below.


What kind of technology do I need to participate? To participate live we recommend you set up a Google+ account and test out Google Hangouts. If you already have a Gmail account, setting up Google+ is extra simple. Google Hangouts will allow you to participate by asking questions in real time and interacting with the presenter via chat, audio or video. Each Google Hangout will automatically be recorded to YouTube for viewing later.

Your Presenter: Erin Mason, PhD

Erin is a career-long advocate for the School Counseling profession. After 13 years experience as a school counselor, Erin earned her PhD at Georgia State University and joined the faculty at DePaul University. Erin is passionate about helping school counselors harness the power of technology for the benefit of their school counseling programs and their own professional development.
