GG #3
Thank you to those of you who have submitted SMART goals to me. I will continue to review them and then will set up a time to spend a few minutes with you talking about your goals and objectives you'll use to achieve them!
Also, please complete the suicide awareness training this weekend if you have not done so already.
We have hired a new para professional to work in our building. Donna Coover has a AA from Northeast and studied music education at UNK. Her mother, Ramona Noble, has been a long-time para at Jefferson. I anticipate Donna's start date will be Sept. 26.
Thank you for your quick work of planning Parent/Teacher Conferences yesterday afternoon. When we all listen and work together, amazing things can be accomplished!
Conferences will be held from 5-8 district-wide. If you need to schedule conferences from 4-5 (to help a fellow teacher from another building out, for example) that is fine.
Have a great weekend!

15% were yellow (Strategic Support)
24.4% were red (Intensive Support)
2015

18% Yellow
22% Red
2014

2013

It's going to be AWESOME to see the gains that the kids are making and will make when we do our winter testing!
Please remind your students to bring in boxtops! Our goal is 14,500, which translates into $1,450 for our school
Last chance to fill out Mickie Mueller's survey!
Here's a link to Mickie's survey about what we want in terms of technology PD this year:
We will get "where the magic happens" together, but it will be uncomfortable at times!
Video of the Week
It's also a great story of perseverance and a father's love, too. I couldn't find the video I really wanted to share, but this is a good one, too. Just search "Team Hoyt" on YouTube for more videos about this amazing pair.
Broccoli--love it or hate it!
Have a GREAT weekend!
