Did You Know?

Thoughtexchange: North Branch Area Public Schools has been exploring changes to its community education programming. Your input will help the committee identify what elements of programming are working, and what could be improved or added to.


We are excited to launch another open and interactive conversation using Thoughtexchange. You can share your ideas, see the ideas of others, and highlight what matters most to you. All of our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued.

Summer construction logistics: The high school, middle school, and the Education Center will be closed this summer for construction. All school district business will be conducted from the Sunrise River School starting June 3. If you would like to enroll at NBAPS, everything you need can be found at the Enrollment Center.

Sports Notes

Fall Sports Meeting: The fall sports Informational meeting to be held on Wednesday July 31 at 6:30 p.m., at a location to be determined later. Save the date!


Online sign-up: Online signup for 2019-20 sports will be available through the Activities Dept. starting July 15. Look for more information about this in June.

Community Notes

Trinity Summer Lunch Club: The Trinity Lunch Club is aimed at providing supplemental food for families with children who qualify for free and reduced school lunches. Food will be distributed 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons during the summer at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch and Stacy Lions Park pavilion in Stacy. Distribution starts on June 5. The bag of food will include a minimum of:

  • 3 individually packaged entrees with protein: (such as mac and cheese, chili, canned chicken)
  • 3 snacks (granola bars, raisins...)
  • 3 dairy or fruit (pudding, applesauce, fruit cups...)
