Living as an "Evacuee"
Japanese immigrants are put in not-so comfortable conditions
You've seen that government propaganda right?
You have probably seen those government advertisements in the theaters. They gave you a sense of security, comfort, and many opportunities the Japanese would be given. Camps, that shielded the immigrants from being hurt from terrible discrimination.
A friendly warning for all Japanese people...
These flyers tell the Japanese to move to the internment camps immediately and describes what is required before leaving. Notice the part that they have to leave their homes and jobs are in fine print...
Happy Portrayal
This is probably what is expected in the camps. Very happy and free people put under protection from the rest of the world.
Little Space to Think
Many Japanese families are cramped in very small quarters, due to the overpopulation in the internment camps.
In Line for Assignment
A line of Japanese Americans, waiting to be settled inside the barracks. Many of them lost everything they owned to be put in bad conditions like these.
