State-Wide Testing Training
This Tuesday's staff meeting will be reserved to review all of the state-wide testing requirements for this year's M-STEP & Early Literacy & Mathematics Benchmark Assessment. Many of the materials have been shared with you in a previous Hagens' Hot Topics which will be referenced during the meeting along with links with information you will need shared with principals by Mr. Schmidt. My goal is to keep copied paper to a minimum as much of what will be shared will be through digital links.
Continue to work on your schedules for testing. Some grades have submitted their schedules and some have not. I will have a complete update on schedules tomorrow.
Please be on time for this very important meeting beginning at 8:20 am in the Elms Library.

Family Literacy Night
Family Literacy Night will be this Tuesday March 6th being held at Flushing Middle School from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Stations are already pre-arranged and volunteers to run the stations are needed. So far over 120 students and over 130 parents are confirmed to attend.
If you plan to attend, please wear your "Reading Takes You on the Greatest Adventures" t-shirt. You can also wear these shirts with jeans tomorrow. This will be an exciting event for our students and their families. I hope you can make it!
