Principal's Coffee - Sept. 14 @ 8:30

Please join me on Tuesday, September 14 for our very first Principal's Coffee. This will be a virtual event via Zoom.

At this meeting, we will discuss COVID protocols, volunteer opportunities, reminders and updates, as well as leave some time for Q&A.

The meeting will be recorded for those of you who cannot attend.

A Zoom link will be emailed to you on Sept. 13.

District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)

Parents of English Learners-please save the date! Our next District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) meeting will be held next week on September 15 from 3:15-4:15 pm on Zoom. We will be presenting information about the ELPAC and upcoming parent workshops, and our teacher leaders from our district EL Committee will share updates from each of their school sites. We hope to see you there!

Our community liaison, Paulina, will be simultaneously translating the meeting for our Spanish speaking parents.

We Need You!

We are looking for 1-2 parents to be a member of our School Site Council. This group is comprised of teachers and parents at Lietz and will meet four times this year (virtually). It is not a big commitment, but the group does make a huge impact. Email if you are interested!

The SSC membership will:

  • Review school and student performance data and district parent/student surveys.

  • Review school goals and have input into specific improvements.

  • Review & provide input into the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) with input from ELAC.

  • Review the Comprehensive School Safety Plan (CSSP) and collaborate on revisions.

  • Review & have advisory input into the development of the District Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).
