Principal's Message
Greetings Seminoles,
We often use the phrase “Begin with the End in Mind” and although we are still not at the end of our school year, we are approaching the final few weeks, which mean we are preparing for assessment season. The assessment season will begin upon our arrival back from Spring Break beginning with our Pathway Assessments, EOC’s, AP Testing, and concluding with Final Exams. In preparation for Creekside assessment season, we have a series of Academic Bootcamps that will be held during school, after school, and on select Saturday mornings. These “Bootcamps” are an opportunity for students to have another opportunity to review material taught throughout the unit and school year to reinforce their learning. We ask that students stay focused and take advantage of all the opportunities for support throughout the rest of the year. If more information is needed about our Academic Bootcamps, or how you can support your scholar please feel free to contact the Creekside High School main office. Have a Great Week and Spring Break.

Creekside High School Safety Survey Results
We have decided to take a short and long term approach to safety based on the results of the survey.
Please see the upcoming changes that address safety and the dates of implementation.
1. Random/Unannounced Locker Checks - School lockers are property of Fulton County Schools. We will be conducting locker checks on unannounced dates and times. Any item found inside the locker that is a violation of policy will lead to further investigation of the student or students associated with the locker.
Implementation Date - April 8th, 2019
2. See Something/Say Something - Students have been encouraged to immediately communicate with an adult in the building if there has been a threat of danger. We are asking parents and staff to remind students that withholding information about a weapon or threat of violence on campus can endanger many people. We have school personnel throughout the building that will be available to receive any tips or information that will ensure the safety of our campus.
Implementation Date - Immediately
3. Clear Bookbags/Purses - There is not a 100% solution to ensuring weapons are not brought to any school campus, however this effort will lower the threat of a weapon on campus. It will be mandatory for all students to have a clear/plastic bookbag and purse for the 2019-2020 school year. We will communicate this to all current and new students for the remaining of this year and throughout the summer to allow students and parents to purchase these items. We believe this is the best option to address weapons or any other unauthorized materials being brought on campus. This option was highly recommended by all school stakeholders.
Implementation Date - 2019/2020 School Year
