Senior Edition Number Two

A Thought or Two From Mr. Nieslanik

We are one step closer, and to be exact...from today, 108 days away from graduation. It is inching closer and closer to us. When the rest of the student body is forecasting and selecting courses for the next school year we always take a pit stop and send a Senior Edition of The Quill to families and students. We are still a bit away from knowing exact details, but our commencement and graduation week events are becoming more and more defined. Seniors, you got this! And parents, you have this as well!

First Semester Transcripts

All seniors going onto community college, trade school, military or university should be working with their counselor to make sure that their transcript has been sent to the appropriate location, if necessary.

It is also important to know that all Incompletes from the last two years will need to be made up and converted to either a pass or a letter grade by the end of the school year. SRHS has set the date of Friday, June 3rd, to have all of these letter grades converted and changed.

Grad Night Update

The Southridge 2022 Grad Night Committee is working hard to plan an amazing evening for our seniors! Every day there is something new and creative in the works, from fun event planning ideas to the sorting of over 11,682 bottles/cans collected during our first bottle drive -- we had a caravan of trucks brimming with bags stationed at the deposit center in Clackamas anxiously awaiting the count of every dime!

Be in the "know" and follow Southridge's new 2022 Grad Night Instagram account @srhsgradnight22 to ensure you are up-to-date on all things grad night! Seniors and families, we will be featuring important information and questions between now and the big event here (like what kind of raffle giveaways would be cool to win, seniors?!)
