We kicked off this past week with our first ROAR Ticket drawing of the year! We will draw for one winner from each grade level every Monday. Please continue to encourage your students to work hard following our school rules to earn those ROAR Tickets! Have a wonderful weekend!

FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH INFORMATION

The grace period for the Free and Reduced Meal Program will be expiring on September 20, 2022. If you have not filled out a NEW application for this school year before September 20, your student meal price will go back to full pay status on September 21.

Please reach out to Food Services if you are unsure of your

Bookmark Contest

Students are invited to create their own bookmark with the theme of "Norris Lions." Pick up a template from Mrs. Harris and be sure to turn in your completed bookmark by Friday, September 23rd!! We will vote on submissions as a school and the top 3 voted bookmarks will win a prize!

School Improvement Team

Our first School Improvement Team meeting will take place on Monday, September 19th at 4:00 in the Library. The School Improvement Team is a committee of teachers and parents who provide valuable input and planning on initiatives and programs that impact all students. MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL

Applications are now being accepted for our Montessori Preschool program. Families living in the Millard School district must submit the application by February 15th, 2023. Families living outside of the Millard School district must apply before March 15, 2023. If you have questions about this application please call 402-715-1265.

FIRE SAFETY DAY

4-H Youth Development in Douglas-Sarpy Counties is hosting a free youth Fire Safety Day at their office on Friday, October 14 from 9 am to noon. This is a free event that any youth from 5 to 18 is welcome to attend. The local fire station will be bringing a fire engine so youth can get up close to the vehicle and hear from the firefighters themselves.
