The Roadrunner Report
All the Roberts News That's Fit to Print.
November 2020
Letter from the Editor
Welcome to the second issue of the Roadrunner Report. We've officially made it through our first month of the school year! Can you believe it's already November?!
I love this time of year because I love nothing more than curling up under a blanket on my couch with my dog on my lap, reading a book and drinking coffee, tea, or hot cocoa.
Growing up, I always spent Thanksgiving with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Pennsylvania. It was the one time of year we could all be together. Thanksgiving holds a special place in my heart and is a time to think about everything and everyone I am fortunate to have in my life.
Even though Thanksgiving will look different this year, since I will be celebrating without my extended family and friends, I am still thankful that my family still has each other and our health.
What activities do you look forward to in the fall? What are you thankful for this year? I would love to hear from you! Send me an email and you might be featured in next month's newsletter. I miss you all!
Cheers,
Mrs. Rice

Staff Spotlight - Meet Mr. Komarisky
Mr. Komarisky is an art teacher here at Roberts PreK-8.
His name is easy to say; it's pronounced like this: "comma-risky".
Here is a picture of his family! --->
He has been making art since he was able to handle a pencil. (Check out one of his masterpieces below.)
He also teaches chess, helps run the student government (selling ice cream 😉), and creates the yearbook!
