Random Student Spotlight
Matthew Ball
by Lily Finnigan
In our random student spotlight, we have Matthew Ball! Matthew is an 8th grader who has been at Dryden for 2 years. His favorite thing about Dryden is the teachers and the opportunities he has here. Matthew's hobbies include playing football and basketball as well as music. Outside of school, Matthew likes hanging out with friends and playing Video games. Matthew’s dream career is either a Police Officer or a Crime Scene Investigator. Matthew is looking forward to the new opportunities and teachers he will have in high school. He would like us to know he has an amazing mom and step-dad and they are both hard workers. He has been to three other schools and says Dryden is the best one. Matthew says the hardest thing about COVID is not being able to socialize and doing virtual learning.
Nathan Baughman
Today in our random student spotlight we have Nathan Baughman! Nathan is a Freshman who has been at Dryden since fifth grade. Nathan’s favorite thing about Dryden is the students and teachers are nice and he can also participate in class and learn virtually. Nathan participated in Track and Field, but outside of school he enjoys playing video games and spending time outside biking, hiking, exploring, swimming, and fishing. After high school, Nathan does not have any plans yet but his dream career is to do something with building. Nathan says the hardest thing about COVID is doing school virtually. He would much rather be in-person.
