About MOMS

The Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) is a ministry for mothers at Holy Spirit to share their faith stories, experiences and traditions with other moms. Our Vision is to be a faith-filled ministry supporting and serving one another and our community with love, friendship, compassion, and laughter on our journey of motherhood.

We are so grateful for the love and care you have shown one another over the past month. From the FIVE thanksgiving baskets you blessed families with to the prayers and emotional support you've offered each other, you've truly been Christ's hands and feet on this earth. Keep letting your beautiful lights shine.

With love,

Your MOMS Facilitators

Sarah and Jen

Merry Christmas, MOMS! This is the sign up for our Adopt A Family this year. I think we can really help to make this Christmas very special for this wonderful family. If you sign up for a spot that is set up for multiple people to bring in an item, please leave a comment as to what you are bringing. For example, 5 spots available for family movies.- in the comments write the name of the movie you purchased. Thank you in advance for your generosity ladies! Please remember that we are looking for new, unused items to be donated. Gift receipts are also a nice touch! The gift wrapping party is Thursday, December 15th at 7pm in the religious ed. pod. Bring your items in then, or on Thursday morning on the 15th. Evite to follow for gift wrapping party!

Love Project: Children's Room Hospitality

LOVE PROJECT IS UNDERWAY! We have set up a small table with some courtesy supplies such as Kleenex, wipes and sanitizer, church board books for the children to enjoy, and of course, brochures with an invitation to MOMS. If your family would like to contribute a church themed and toddler friendly board book to the children's room, we'll put a little sticker inside the book with your family's name and we would be so grateful! Let Sarah or Jen know if you have questions at any meeting. If you are in the children's room and have a chance to check on our table and straighten it up, that would be much appreciated! Also, additional supplies are in a labeled box in the lost and found closet if you notice something needs to be replenished.

Prayer Partners

The Holy Spirit is at work through our prayer partners. We're so grateful for the new friendships and the uplifting experience, as well as many answered prayers. God is so good to us. Thanks to everyone who is praying for your prayer partner! What a gift to give to another mama!

If you haven't paid dues for the year, no worries! Just give to Dawn or Shannon at any meeting. Thanks for supporting the activities of our ministry!

If you would like to bring your children to our morning meetings, see information here.

Our ministry is open to women with children of ALL ages. We have veteran mamas and brand new moms, and so much to share and learn from one another as we grow in faith!

Meetings start with an opening prayer and introductions, followed by a discussion on various topics related to our motherhood and our faith. Our time together wraps up with prayer intentions and a closing prayer. Attendance is not required every week to be a part of MOMs – just come when you are able.

Please contact us at if you have any questions before you attend your first meeting!
